Williams is almost as bad as him with that move he pulled trying to keep them on the team, shameful.

kind of doubt williams wanted to keep goins on the team. he benched goins with 245 left in the game due to his actions on the court.

Wasn't really aimed at Goins, but the other one, Williams kicked him off the summer team or something I believe this past summer - pretty sure anyway.

if wise doesnt follow thru and lay the hammer down like jib, they should and will get blasted by us on here, and hopefully in the newspaper for having zero class

I haven't seen JJKelly play but friends told me that McAmis purposely told his players to foul as hard as they can to disrupt a game. It has happened in several games already in just this season, not counting other seasons. This coach is supposed to be a minister of a church, sounds like one whacked out preacher, he should'nt be preaching or coaching it sounds like to me.

Yeah Lord knows both incidents were completely initiated by JJK. That's the kinda gangstas we have rollin' up in da Birchfield (rolls eyes). Try being there and knowing what transpired before judging,instead of assuming. I wasn't at the JJK-JIB affair Friday night ,so unlike a slew of others on here who were not there,but are ragging on folks before they know what's really going on I'll not speak on it (hearing alot about it on here,but not taking that with anything but a grain of salt).

I will be surprised if there are any repercussions for the Kelly team. In this situation, it's a matter of how the principal wants to handle it. Rocky Baker was there Friday night and was on the floor trying to separate some of the players. He was about as upset and angry as I've seen Rocky. So, I'm not surprised that he took action.

As for Kelly, I've known Charles Collins since he's been at Kelly. He is a nice guy, but I've never known him to "get his hands dirty" when it comes to disciplining students. He has always left the discipline up to his assistant principal. There was a point in the game where the father of one of the Kelly players was getting very verbal with one of the Burton players. Someone said that he was making some threats towards him, but I didn't hear specifically what was said. Coach Williams said something to one of the referees about it. Mr. Collins came over to the parent to talk to him, but he was smiling and laughing as if it was no big deal.

As for Coach Williams, I've always had a lot of respect for him. But, I think he was a little naive thinking that he could come to Burton and create the same kind of teams he had at Castlewood. You can put a tie and a dress coat on every 16 or 17 year old kid in your school if you want to, but that doesn't make them good basketball players, and it doesn't change their attitudes. Right now, he may be wishing he had stayed at Castlewood.
